If an insurance company says one of its benefit is that it pays for rental car excess cover of RM 1000.  What does that mean please?  If I get into an accident while driving a rental car in US and the car is totaled, and I didn't opt for the CDW provided by the US car rental company, but instead purchased a travel insurance with that particular coverage, does the travel insurance pay for damage to the rented car?  Thank you.
